Grace Santorini is set on the hillside at Imerovigli, a peaceful village on the northwest coast.

With traditional white houses dotting the rock face, it sits 300 meters above the Caldera, a deep basin formed by the volcano sinking into the sea during 1500 BC.

The village faces Skaros Rock, renowned for its Venetian castle ruins, and formerly Santorini's capital. From its high vantage point, the Hotel views extend to the islands of Thirasia, Palaia and Nea Kameni. A few steps below the hotel is the tiny church of Agios Ioannis Katiforis, dating from the 15th century, which may also be visited by guests on Saturdays.

How to get there

Santorini island is well serviced by both air and sea. There are three flights daily from Athens to Santorini with Aegean and Olympic Airlines. There is also a multitude of international charter flights during the summer season. SkyExpress is a small airline that connects Santorini with Mykonos and Crete with daily flights during the high season.
